Yukon Blonde play free show
Yukon Blond is returning to Kelowna for a free concert - NO BULL.
The concert, scheduled for City Park May 19 is part of the Red Bull Tour Bus 'Hometown Tour.'
This is one of 11 free shows Red Bull is sponsoring across Canada bringing musical groups back to their hometowns.
Frontman Jeff Innes, guitarist Brandon Scott and drummer Graham Jones formed the group in Kelowna in 2005 under the name Alphababy.
They released two EPs and toured with their slow-burning variety of synth-heavy rock.
In 2008, they reinvented themselves as Yukon Blonde, ditching their moody style in favour of a more raw, guitar-driven sound.
