T-bone take 2

Another vehicle was T-Boned at the intersection of Harvey and Hardy Monday afternoon.

Two days ago an SUV was flipped on its side after being hit by a truck when the driver tried to dart across Harvey onto Hardy (video below) sending four people to hospital. In today's (Monday) accident there were three people in the SUV, including a small child, and one person in the pick-up truck. All of the occupants escaped serious injuries. The accident happened around noon.

Cst. Routley, "Well pretty much the same thing that happened here two days ago. We had a pickup truck that was east bound on Harvey, he attempted to turn left onto Hardy, and you had an SUV that was heading in the opposite direction, in the HOV lane and ended up T-boning the pick-up."

The driver of the pick-up says he thought he saw the driver of the SUV signaling to turn onto Hardy, but when they did not turn it was too late, and he was unable to stop to avoid a collision.

Routley says charges of Failing to Yield are pending against the driver of the pick-up.

"We cant really blame the intersection, it's inattentive drivers. Pay attention, even if you see a signal light you still need to yield to oncoming traffic."

Here is the weekend collision video.
