Shotgun used in robbery

Kelowna Mounties are looking for a single suspect following an armed robbery Tuesday morning.

The suspect is being sought after the Capri Insurance location at the back end of Capri Centre Mall was robbed at gun point. 

An unknown male suspect entered the insurance agency and threatened the staff with a shotgun, demanding money.

The man then fled the scene on an older light blue bicycle with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A track could not be initiated and the suspect was not located.

 The man is described as:

  • Approximately 5 ft 6 in (167 cm)
  • Slim build
  • Wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a face mask
