Victim was an SPCA volunteer
As friends and family mourn the loss of Aimee Parkes, so does the Kelowna BCSPCA.
Branch manager Suzanne Pugh says Parkes was a dedicated volunteer and friend to many at the shelter.
"Aimee supported the branch with many volunteer hours and has fostered over 50 animals during her time with the Kelowna BCSPCA," says Pugh.
Pugh expresses her sincere condolences from those at the shelter to Parkes' friends and family.
The Kelowna BCSPCA will be lighting candles in memory of their dedicated volunteer at the shelter on April 9 at 7 p.m. and invite the public to attend.
