Runner in black struck on Harvey
Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening a pedestrian was struck on Harvey avenue at Richter Street.
According to witness on the scene, Patrick Oxtoby, a runner in dark clothes was struck by an older Ford Explorer.
He says the Ford was making a left turn onto Harvey when the runner was hit inside the cross walk.
Oxtoby says the runner was very difficult to see and that this should be a reminder that if you are running or even out for a walk at night wear something reflective or easy to see.
We will have more details as they become available.
