Be aware of spiked tires
A Kelowna resident awoke last week to find someone had placed spikes around her tires, presumably to cause damage.
Christine Russo says she found the sight very disturbing when she woke up on Feb. 27, noting that someone must have spent time fashioning the weapon.
Her daughter first noticed the spikes at their Mission home near Gyro Beach.
Russo says she wants to warn other residents of what is happening.
The objects appear to be long sharp screws fashioned into a spike belt. There are also indentations that could possibly mean the piece of wood was held in place with vice grips while someone built the device.
