A pair of Kelowna residents are facing drug and weapons charges in Alberta after they were stopped by RCMP in Canmore, AB on Valentine's Day.

According to CTV News police observed a black Honda Civic swerving on the Trans-Canada Highway east of the town sometime after 1 a.m. on Feb 14.
Police stopped the vehicle and discovered the driver did not have a valid driver's licence.
The two occupants of the vehicle also admitted to possessing a small quantity of marijuana.
A subsequent search of the vehicle found:
- Approximately 20 lbs of marijuana
- Five grams of cocaine
- Two long barreled firearms
- A handgun
- An extendable baton
- Ammunition and loaded magazines
- Several edged weapons
- An undisclosed amount of cash
Stephen McManus, 22 and Vanessa Flavin, 18, both from Kelowna face charges as a result of the incident.
