RCMP look for owners of stolen property

Police are looking to return several suspected stolen items after they were seized in a traffic stop last month.
Back on Jan 31, members of the Special Enforcement Team stopped a black Dodge Dart in the parking lot of the Mac's Convenience Store located on Glenmore Road in an effort to locate a wanted person. During the stop, police discovered a quantity of marijuana, suspected stolen identification and other suspected stolen property items. The vehicle had previously fled from police a few days prior and was impounded.
The items believed to be stolen are:

  • A white 16GB iPad with pink Smart Case
  • Acer ASPIRE laptop
  • Black Targus laptop bag containing various computer component parts and cables. Several USB thumb drives containing pictures and personal documents were also inside.
  • Playstation 3 with power cord (no controllers or other cables)

If you believe some or all these items to be yours, please contact Cst THOMSON at 250-762-3300 to make arrangements to provide proof of ownership to claim them.
A 36-year-old Kelowna man faces possible charges of Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was released for Court at a later date. The driver, a 20-year-old Edmonton woman was released without charges.
