Okanagan Wine & Dine kicks off
The Thompson Okanagan Wine & Dine event kicks off Wednesday with more than 50 restaurants taking part over the next few weeks, each with its own special fixed price menu.
This is the 12th year for the event, which pairs the region’s best restaurants with BC VQA wines and provides the perfect opportunity to experience new restaurants and revisit old favourites.
The majority of the participating restaurants are found in Kelowna, and most offer multiple options broken into three menu options -- each offering an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
Prices are broken into $15, $25 and $35 menus to keep the event affordable for a wide array of budgets, and diners can also enter to win a grand prize just by participating. Ballots are available at each location.
