Police investigate stabbing

Update -- 8:40 a.m.

A 52-year-old woman is in custody after allegedly stabbing a 46-year-old man in what police are calling a domestic incident.

According to Cst. Kris Clark of the Kelowna RCMP, the victim received non-life threatening injuries and has apparently been released from medical care.

The investigation is ongoing.

It’s believed that at least one person was taken to hospital Sunday afternoon, after a possible stabbing at a Kelowna apartment building.

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the 700-block of Bernard Avenue.

The Kelowna RCMP have yet to release any details, but officers were on scene.

We’ll have more details once they become available.
