Internet identifies Kelowna tagger
Kelowna's mystery tagging tyrant is no longer a mystery after RCMP were flooded with online tips from the recent media coverage.
Cst. Kris Clark says shorty after the RCMP were given her name online, a lawyer acting on her behalf phoned the station.
"Within a few hours of releasing information to the media, readers had commented on an online news story indicating the name of a possible suspect. A lawyer has since contacted police to arrange for the suspect to turn herself in," said Clark.
The woman is set to be released on a Promise to Appear for Court at a later date.
"The Kelowna RCMP would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," adds Clark.
