Unreal art at the Kelowna Art Gallery
The Kelowna Art Gallery will be showcasing an "Unreal" exhibition in the New Year.
Unreal is circulated by the Vancouver Art Gallery and contains work by 28 artists, many of whom are contemporary Canadians.
The theme of the unreal refers to areas of thought and experience beyond the everyday. The works are grouped by sub-theme: The Unconscious, The Haunted, The Absurd, and The Disassembled. Pieces range in medium from oil paintings to mixed-media works on paper, to printmaking and three-dimensional sculptures.
Unreal will be on view from January 11 to March 9.
