A charity hockey game played Monday night at the Capital News Centre has raised a few thousand dollars for the Kelowna Food Bank.
The event was organized by JDS Energy and Mining Inc., and featured a Pro’s vs. Joe’s theme to the game.
It featured members of the JDS staff against a few veterans players who have made the professional ranks.
In the end, the players raised $7,500 and presented a cheque to the Kelowna Food Bank following the game.
