Black ice causes fiery crash
This car ended up with it's front end up on the curb after crashing through a tree and missing a pole on Union Road hill in Glenmore Monday evening, after afternoon rain turned the roads to black ice.
According to witnesses fire crews attended and had to put out a fire in the car saying that at one point the flames were 10-feet high.
The driver is apparently shaken up but doing ok, an ambulance did attend the scene as well and police crews shut down the road.
Ice is also to blame for a rollover Monday evening in Glenrosa.
