Witnesses sought in Big White stabbing

Police are looking for any witnesses of an early Saturday morning fight on Big White Mountain that left several people with stab wounds.

According to RCMP Cst. Kris Clark, on December 21 at 12:45 a.m. West Kelowna RCMP received a report of a vocal argument that lead to a stabbing outside a licensed establishment in the 5300 block of Big White Road. 

Multiple people were reportedly involved in a screaming fight that physically escalated before culminating in the stabbing.

Several people were injured in the incident with a 21-year-old Kelowna man suffering the most significant injuries. He remains in medical care at this time.

"Police are looking for anyone who saw the incident and has yet to speak with investigators. Additionally, police are seeking private video recordings, such as cell phone and camcorder video, in order to supplement the video surveillance footage already obtained," explains Clark.
