Kelowna Chiefs inspire young players

A team building exercise by the Kelowna Chiefs has turned into a motivator for young hockey players.

Members of the Chiefs banded together to film their take of Hedley’s hit new song “Anything."

The idea for the video was the brainchild of Kelowna Chiefs Director of Operations and Marketing Reagan Krivsky.

“Anything was chosen mostly because a lot of hockey players are told don’t bother, you’re too small or slow and you have no commitment so Hedley hit the mark with this song, telling young people around the world, to never give up on their dreams. This is something very important for young players to recognize.”

The video features a young hockey player trying to make the cut, but he keeps getting harassed by fellow teammates and coaches. With hard work and determination, he can do anything.

Hedley is a local band, hailing from Abbotsford, BC. They will be performing at Prospera Place in February 2014.
