A hot holiday dance
Thanks to funds raised from Kelowna's Hot Holiday Homes tour, 850 children and their families had the chance to enjoy a special performance of The Nutcracker ballet.
On December 8 the fifth annual ‘Making Memories’ event filled the Kelowna Community Theatre with holiday spirit, and created the experience of a lifetime for local children.
Families who would not normally get the chance to attend this holiday classic, were given the opportunity to enjoy a live performance by The Canadian School of Ballet and Ballet Kelowna.
Each child in attendance also received a stocking filled with small gifts and treats.
The Hot Holiday Homes tour was held in November, showcasing festive professional design in several homes throughout the area. Funds raised through ticket sales and donations made the 'Making Memories' event possible.
