Kelowna woman found
Updated: Valerie Hunter was located late this afternoon. She is well and was staying at a residence in Kelowna. RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.
Kelowna RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 64-year-old Kelowna woman after she was reported missing earlier today.
On Dec 18, just before 8 am, RCMP received a report of a missing person from a home on the 2600 block of Richter Street.
Valerie Hunter, 64, apparently left the home the previous evening at 8 p.m. and failed to return.
Hunter suffers from an undisclosed condition and may be non-communicative.
She has a recent history of going missing and was previously located by family members.
Hunter is described as:
- 5'6" with a thin build
- Shoulder length grey hair which is usually worn in a bun
- Last seen wearing a green jacket and black toque
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Valerie Hunter is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
