Thrift store celebrates 10 years strong
As a show of appreciation for clients of the Kelowna Women’s Shelter thrift store, they will be thanking the community with a weeklong sale of 50 per cent off all items this week.
The store is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Kelowna, and have recently moved into a new space in the cities downtown north end.
The shop is stocked with a wide selection of good quality donated goods, including clothing, linens, small appliances, furniture and towns.
All income from the shop goes to funding for services to help women and children impacted by abuse. Clients of the shelter may also access items they need free of charge.
The thrift store is located at #6 – 368 Industrial Avenue, just off Ellis Street between Clement and Bay. Hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
