Bus hits Jetta; Gordon reopened

UPDATE 4:00 P.M. 

The city bus involved in the accident on Gordon Drive has now been moved and Gordon is reopened. 

A city bus slid into a VW Jetta on the top of Gordon Drive, in the Mission area of Kelowna, Monday afternoon.

As of 3:45 p.m. the road was still closed and traffic was backed up for several kilometres.

RCMP have called for a heavy tow truck to remove the bus.

We will have more information as it becomes available.
