Mission Creek trees get festive flair

This holiday season, the Regional District of Central Okanagan and Kelowna Community Resources are teaming up to share some joy and perhaps bring a smile to all visiting Mission Creek Regional Park - those on two legs, four legs and even those who fly!

On December 4th, staff from Kelowna Community Resources (KCR) will decorate several trees in the park under the guidance of the Regional Parks Services staff.

All the decorations will be environmentally friendly and even edible for those species that live in the park.

They’ll remain in place through January 5th.

Come down with your family to Mission Creek Regional Park, located at Springfield and Durnin Roads, take a relaxing walk on the trails and along the Mission Creek Greenway and see if the young ones can spot the specially decorated Christmas trees!
