97 Widening Work

If you are travelling from Kelowna south to Penticton expect delays between Peachland and Summerland.

That's because the highway is being widened to four lanes for the foreseeable future.

Emil Anderson Construction is doing the work and says there will be intermittent minor delays 24 hours a day.

There will also be one 30 minute delay Monday to Thursday sometime between 9:00 and 10:30 am, 12 noon to 1:30 pm, and 2:30 to 4 pm.

You can also expect a one hour delay from 7 to 8 pm Monday to Thursday.

And there'll also be one 30 minute delay Fridays and Saturdays sometime between 9 and 10:30 am or from noon to 1:30 pm.

Everyone is urged to obey all traffic control persons and signs until the widening is done.
