The Westjet Wine Tastings 2013
It was a sold out weekend for the Okanagan Westjet Wine Tasting.
Each night saw over 500 people come through the doors of the Rotary Centre for the Arts, to sip, swirl and discover what the Okanagan Valley has to offer in the world of wine.
According to Blair Baldwin with the Okanagan Wine Festivals society, this year's event drew a much younger demographic whom he believes are just beginning to venture into wine culture.
"Each year there seems to be a trend for those who attend the event, this year it appears to be a lot of younger people who are just discovering wine, along with a lot of single women traveling in groups."
Guests could enter various rooms in the Rotary Centre, each representing different regions of the Okanagan, and taste over 180 wines.
The fall wine festival continues with events around the Okanagan until the 14th of October.
