Readers Question: How do I stay focused on my goals? I have set a significant goal for myself and broken it down into weekly, monthly, and long term goals! I’m so proud of my hard work and life changes! What was once mentally and physically gruelling and challenging, is now a lifestyle easy to maintain! I have seen amazing results physically, mentally and emotionally! I am half-way to my goal and still motivated! However I am not able to keep focus and in a lull….. HELP ME! What can I do so I don’t lose my previous momentum?
Kasie’s response: This momentum that you have built up for yourself, resulting in amazing successes and lifestyle changes is just the beginning! Congratulations to you on the completion of the first phase of achieving your goal! Give yourself a pat on the back and acknowledge everything amazing that you have done for yourself to this point! This small lull that you are now experiencing just might be the motivator that you needed to help get you to the next phase. Get excited, it is now time for this additional component to add your daily and lifestyle regimen!
You may have been taught as a child that “day dreaming” is bad, as it could have easily gotten in the way of learning in the class room or taken focus away from your activities… but what if we can allow ourselves to let our mind go and dream of achieving your every desire and goal? I call this LIFE DREAMING: “Having the mental strength to be aware of your thoughts and to transform them into a positive visualisation of emotion having you feel as if in that moment you are experiencing your goals as an achieved reality.” Life dreaming is not just thinking of the words or emotions you know that you would feel, and trying hard to believe you feel them, It’s simply training yourself to see, feel, believe and experience those emotions as your current state.
Having the mental strength to “life dream” with emotion regularly through-out your day will have you out of your lull, motivated and ready to crush this next portion of your goals, achieving success and many positive changes in no time! As this new mind transformation will never let you down on a tired- low energy or bad day. It will have you more powerful in your determination and your efforts of achieving your goals! Go ahead…start life dreaming! Notice and track all of the positive changes in all areas of your life, energy and success!
