1. Tabata Style Training:
Most group fitness classes that you are attending may be starting to incorporate this high-intensity form of interval training, originally developed for Japanese speed skaters. Exercises (which can be anything from jump rope to plank) are performed at maximum effort for 20 seconds with 10 seconds rest for 8 reps – a total of 4 minutes.
This style workout keeps you working near or at your anaerobic threshold, which keeps your heart rate elevated for hours afterwards, leading to an increased calorie burn throughout the day.
2. Paddle Boarding:
A surface water sport created in Hawaii in the 1960’s can be used either as a high intensity paddle, or a relaxing and social paddle. The most common and the latest craze on the board is yoga and boot camp style workouts!
This sport not only burns calories it also tones the shoulders, lats, back , legs ,obliques and core. The obvious benefits of Stand Up Paddle Boarding is the increase in your level of fitness. It is a great sport for cross-training, aerobic as well as a strength workout .

High-energy Latin music and dance moves make for a great aerobic workout. You get lost in both the music and the movement—the added benefit is that you are getting a great caloric burn.
