Robbed twice in 1 week

Kamloops police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two male suspects who robbed a store on Saturday afternoon.

A man entered the Moviemart in the 300 block of St. Paul Street just after 1 p.m. His face was covered and he was carrying a box knife.

Police say he jumped over the counter and made the employee open the cash register.

He then took the money from the register and left the store, headed west and then south through the parking lot of Double Tree Hotel.

The employee at the store was not injured.

Police said the suspect is five-foot-eight, 160 lbs, Caucasian and was wearing a black toque, black bandana, grey zipped up hoody, blue jeans, grey running shoes, and black gloves.

After the suspect fled the scene he met with another man in the back alley near the Double Tree Hotel.

The second male is described as same approximately the same height and size. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black pea coat with a grey hoody underneath, blue jeans, white running shoes with light blue shoelaces, carrying 1 red “Under Armour” medium size duffle bag.

Kamloops RCMP is still investigating and cannot confirm if the two robberies are related yet.

Anyone with information should contact RCMP.
