Police are investigating whether two armed robberies in Kamloops are linked.
Kamloops RCMP say they arrested a 21-year-old man suspected in the April 11 afternoon robbery of the CIBC bank on Victoria Street. A man walked into the bank and gave a note to the teller, demanding cash.
"The investigations into this incident and a robbery at the Howard Johnson Hotel from the evening of April 10 remain ongoing at this time to determine if they are related," said Kamloops RCMP in a statement.
The man is known to police.
