Searching for third suspect

Police in Kamloops have arrested two men and are looking for a third, after a resident reported his home was being broken into.

The attempted break-in happened just after 9 a.m. Tuesday on Fleetwood Avenue.

Police attended the scene, but the three men fled the area.

After setting up a perimeter, and with the help of a police dog, two of the men were found on Greenfield Avenue and arrested.

At the same time, other residents in the area called police and reported a man with a limp going through their backyards and jumping fences.

The Kamloops RCMP have asked anyone who sees a man with a limp in the Brocklehurst area to call the police.

The investigation into the attempted break-in is ongoing.
