Driver faces barrel of a gun

A man is in custody after allegedly pointing a gun at another man after a road rage altercation in Kamloops Monday.

A man told police he was cut off by another driver while driving in Kamloops. He followed the man to a house on the south shore, looking to get a photo of the man's licence plate.

As he was taking a photo of the car in the driveway, the driver reportedly came back out of the home with two rifles and pointed them at the other man.

The man taking the photo immediately left the area and phoned police.

Kamloops RCMP responded to the home and arrested the 25-year-old Kamloops man. The guns were seized by police.

The RCMP is recommending charges of pointing a firearm and possession of a firearm for a dangerous person against the man, who was previously known to police.
