Two out of three found

Hayley Haines, 18, and Rhoda Johnson, 58, have been located by Kamloops RCMP Thursday evening. 

McKenna Smith, 18, is still missing.

Three women have been reported missing in unrelated cases in Kamloops Thursday – and now the Kamloops RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance located them.

Hayley Haines, 18, was reported missing on Aug. 29. She has reportedly been sighted in the downtown Kamloops area as recently as yesterday afternoon.

She is described as;

  • First Nations
  • Five foot four inches tall
  • 115 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Brown Eyes

“Police are concerned for Hayley’s well being and would ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts please contact the Kamloops RCMP,” says Const. Jason Epp.

Fellow 18-year-old McKenna Smith was also reported missing and police are looking for your help locating her.

Smith was reported missing on Sept. 1.

“The last known contact between McKenna and her family was via Facebook on Sept. 2,” says Epp. “McKenna is believed to be in the company of a male friend, and may be driving a silver Honda Civic 4 door with Alberta license plate BPN9992.”

Police believe she may have taken off to an unknown area of Alberta.

She is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Five foot five inches tall
  • 126 pounds
  • Light Brown hair
  • Brown Eyes
  • Flower tattoo on left forearm

As well, 58-year-old Rhoda Johnson was reported missing on Sept. 2, after she failed to return home from a walk to the store.

“Johnson lives on Thompson Drive in Kamloops, and went out to Coopers Store in Valleyview Tuesday evening but failed to return home,” says Epp. “Rhoda was last seen wearing a black vest, shorts, sandals and carrying her black purse.”

Johnson is described as:

  • First Nations
  • Five foot four inches tall
  • Medium build
  • Long brown hair
  • Brown eyes (glasses)

RCMP and family are concerned for all the women's well-being and ask anyone with information on any of three to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) to remain anonymous.
