Pizza to go - literally

A pizza delivery driver had his car stolen at gunpoint overnight.

About 12:15 a.m., a Papa John’s Pizza driver was approached by two males as he was finishing his shift. As he was getting into his vehicle, one of the men pulled a gun and demanded he turn over the vehicle.

The blue 2006 Chevy Aveo was parked in the City View complex at 1801 Highway 5A in Kamloops.

The robbers were last seen driving west on Rogers Way.

The victim was unharmed, but was shaken by the incident, said RCMP Const. Jason Epp.

There is only a limited description of the suspects, but it is believed they are 19-22 years old and were wearing dark clothing.

The car has B.C. licence plate 965NXF and a large Murray GM sticker in the rear window.

Kamloops RCMP ask anyone with information on the robbery to contact them at 250-828-3000 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
