One man is in custody and another is in hospital following a stabbing incident late Wednesday.
According to RCMP, the incident occurred shortly before midnight at the Esso station on the 200 block of Tranquille Road.
Police discovered a 26-year-old man had been stabbed in the back after an argument with a known male in the parking lot of the gas station.
Officers were able to obtain a detailed description of the suspect, which led them to an arrest shortly after receiving the report.
The victim was transported to hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A 27-year-old man, who is known to police, is in custody awaiting court on a number of charges stemming from the stabbing, arrest and other unrelated warrants.
