On July 10 a Ford F350 pickup truck was stolen from a business on Battle Street. A vehicle matching the same description was involved in a residential break and enter at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the Sahali area.

Just before 12 p.m., police received a report of two people arguing at the Acadian Inn on Columbia Street and attended that location where they found the previously stolen truck.
The female suspect was arrested at the scene, while the male fled on foot. Police apprehended him a short distance away after a brief foot chase.
While trying to escape from police the suspect jumped on to two vehicles in a parking lot, causing damage to both of them.
Police later executed a search warrant at the room where the suspects were residing and seized items believed to be from other break and enters.
