Special needs bike recovered

The RCMP have recovered the unique bike stolen Tuesday. 

On Friday evening Kamloops RCMP received a tip which led to the recovery of the bike on the North Shore of Kamloops.

The bike has now been returned to the owner.


A unique type of bicycle was stolen on Tuesday from a Kamloops girl with special needs.

The custom made bike was built for the teenager living on Renfrew Avenue. It is a tricycle styled bike with two wheels in the rear.

The bike is blue and silver, with the word “Mission” written on the frame. Its pedals have straps on them, and the bike has a large seat with a backrest and baskets on the front and rear of the bike.
