Salvation Army robbed

The Kamloops Salvation Army was the victim of a break-in and theft early Tuesday morning.

Kamloops RCMP were called to the Salvation Army on Tranquille Road by a staff member opening the store.

“The employee arrived at work to discover a broken window. The alarm had been disabled by the suspect(s), who then spent time inside the premise breaking into a safe, before departing with a computer and cash,” said RCMP Cpl. Cheryl Bush

RCMP are in the process of attempting to identify who may be responsible for this break in.

If you have any information call the Kamloops Detachment at (250) 828-3000 or Crime Stoppers.
