New op cop in Kamloops
Kamloops RCMP have a new Operations Officer.
The detachment announced Wednesday Insp. Tony Perry has been hired to the post.
He replaces Insp. Jannie Latham who recently departed the Kamloops Detachment.
Insp. Perry is currently serving with the RCMP in the Antigonish District of Nova Scotia.
He has 26 years of operational experience in General Duties and Major Crimes.
Kamloops Detachment is looking forward to welcoming the new officer and is still waiting for an arrival date to be determined.
