RCMP hunt for gunman

On Monday April 14, Kamloops RCMP were called to a residence in the 700 block of Columbia Street for a report of a disturbance. 

Residents told police that an unknown male had approached them in their yard.  The male was upset and advised them that they were being too noisy.  

He allegedly pulled out what appeared to be a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the residents prior to fleeing on foot.  

The suspect male is described as:

  • a white male
  • early 20s
  • tall and thin
  • wearing a black T shirt and jeans   

No shots were fired and there were no injuries sustained to any individuals, the investigation is ongoing. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
