Crash on Halston bridge
Traffic was snarled Sunday afternoon by an accident on the Halston Bridge in Kamloops.
According to a witness, the crash happened at around 4:20 p.m., blocking traffic westbound.
One person was taken away on a stretcher. The extent of his injuries are not known at this time.
It appears a driver is being investigated for possible impairment.
The road was reopened to traffic at approximately 5:10 p.m.
