Cop car rollover on Coq.

Simon Hergott - Trevor Rockliffe

No one was injured after a police car ended up rolling over in a ditch off of the Coquihalla Highway Thursday afternoon.

RCMP Traffic constructionists have been sent out to investigate the crash as it involved a police cruiser.

A witness says the RCMP cruiser was involved in a police pursuit when it went off the highway and rolled.

Cst. Brodie Harris from Merritt traffic services says the officer was attempting to stop another vehicle at the time of the accident and that the highway was very icy.

The rollover happened near the Logan Lake turn off.
