Fire hydrant taken out by crash

Video: Simon Hergott - VO: Trevor Rocklife

Emergency crews were called to a two vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon at Poplar and Willow in Kamloops.

City crews were also on hand to contain a fire hydrant, which had been sheared off by the impact.

Both drivers were able to walk away from the crash with minor injuries.

Firefighters had to help one of the drivers escape because the vehicle's doors were pinned by a pole on the passenger side and by the other vehicle on the driver's side.
