Armed home invasion in McLure
RCMP in Barriere have two people in custody following a home invasion in McLure early Friday morning.
Police were called to the home on McLure Ferry Road about 6:45 a.m. for a complaint of a home invasion in progress.
Reports indicated four people and a firearm were involved.
Barriere RCMP were assisted by police from Kamloops and Clearwater.
The residence was contained, and communication with the occupants and victims was established.
All occupants were removed by Police, and identified, resulting in the arrest of two people for unrelated matters to the home invasion.
The two adults arrested are to appear before the courts Friday afternoon.
Barriere RCMP are still investigating the incident, but do not believe that there is a danger to the public.
