Everything is temporary

Everything in our lives without exception is temporary that is not to say that there are no things that are not guaranteed. We all know the saying about death and taxes. Health is temporary and sickness is also temporary. Happiness, sadness and love it is all temporary. This begs the question then, why hold onto things that do not serve us.

If you are in a bad state now this will pass and you will come into a good state this holds true individually and politically. There are no shortages of stories from our elders who at one time or another have told of their hard times, plagues and so on it was a temporary state at least on the physical plane.

When we hear and read stories in the media about specific diseases that are plaguing society at this time such as H1N1 and so on, thinking people see it as more of an advertising campaign. In a few short months we will be talking of swarms of African red fire ants that will surly be venomous and cause some uncontrollable mutating virus.

Everything evolves from its current state because if it did not we may still be running for our lives from dinosaurs. Remember just a couple of years back we were running from Avian flu so much so that we killed thousands of poultry and even one woman’s pet bird. We ran from West Nile virus and now we run from H1N1 and this is happily only temporary.

It used to be that experience shaped our evolution and thoughts, now, the media almost controls it however, even the media cannot make things permanent regardless of how long [they] drag it on. Consider this: an outside entity is creating a vision for you, and like mind control you will succumb to the idea because it is everywhere now even subliminally. It is easy to be afraid of something that is known only as a series of letters and numbers such as H1N1. Like a ghost that skulks in the shadows as a society we need to turn on the lights and see what is really there.

As recently as last week I was talking to a woman who was beside herself with anxiety over whether she should or should not get a vaccine for the latest virus and as always I suggested she do her own research. “What if my child contracts the H1N1 virus because I did not vaccinate, what kind of mother would I be?”

I replied, “That is a very good question the same question that the current media blitz campaign wants you to ask. The truth be known, you will be exactly the same mother that you already are whether your child gets vaccinated or not”.

You see, succumbing to the majority or minority does not make you fit or unfit, it does not shape your life in any definite way in reality it only adds one more temporary brick to the wall. I would imagine that a thoughtful process that gets you to your decision means more than simply just buying into someone’s manufactured program.

Remember this, the one who speaks the loudest is not always correct, possibly they are just more insecure with what they are offering. The one who wears the flashiest clothes is not always the most beautiful. In other words, just because something is advertised as good over and over does not in anyway mean that it is.

If nothing else, remember that in our temporary state this too shall pass.
