Last week as I was driving through town I came to a stop light there at the adjacent intersection I noticed the driver of that vehicle looked absolutely stressed out. Although it is hard to say what that stress means in an individuals’ life, it made me contemplate that on any given day we are all sitting on the razors edge and totally at the mercy of stress if we allow it to take hold.
In most cases it may be easy to say that stress or at least the idea of stress is simply an illusory state because we have to have a particular idea or thought before something stresses us out. Thoughts or ideas come before the physical response and this is so true with health in general.
I am not going to go into particular areas of what could possibly stress us out because potentially everything could under the right circumstances just as different situations cause certain individuals to feel relaxed.
Everything starts with an idea, a vision, and a clear mental image there are no exceptions to this. Healing starts with the idea that you will be healed, sickness starts with the idea that you are not well. From there, depending on your thought process, you will either get better or you will contract disease. True healing then, starts with the identification of where you are at in your thought process regarding health.
It is also very true that the degree to which stress affects you is all about how you perceive the so-called stressful situations. Sure, health, money, and a myriad of things are out there waiting to get into our heads and take us down the key is not to hold on to them. Just let these things flow through like water under a bridge. We are here to live our lives according to our best vision not to be stifled by the thoughts that will hold us back. Guess what? You are not the only one in this situation you are not as isolated as you think you are.
There is no divine entity out there whose job it is to make sure that you have more stress and more problems than others around you. There is no entity that constantly keeps you down and keeps you from getting ahead well, there may be, but that entity is yourself.
Now, you may be asking yourself, what has any of this have to do with my life or what does any of this have to do with homeopathy? All I am going to say to this is that there is no disconnection to anything in this world and possibly even the universe however there is disconnection in our thoughts sometime.
Back to the person in the car at the stop light we have no idea if they were even stressed, maybe that is the way they always look. There could be a million maybes but this person created a topic for this week’s column and maybe it was no coincidence that our vehicles converged on an early morning traffic light.
Sure, you could get a prescription but that just distorts the process, you could go to a counselor and keep it alive or you can choose to change your thought pattern and watch your entire world change. You can make the decision to understand that anything in front of you, to the sides, in the past and so on, is in your head first.
Have you ever been to the doctor only to have him or her tell you it was all in your head? Well, maybe they were onto something. Change your mind and everything changes.
