Trail raises over $3K

Lake Country Scenic Sip Trail has raised $3,107.60 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The funds were raised during the Lake Country Scenic Sip Trail’s Sweetheart Pairing event that was held February 9-10,
2019. Donations were collected in lieu of tasting fees at each participating winery. One hundred per cent of the funds raised will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

“Heart health is very important to everyone on the Scenic Sip Trail. Whether we have been touched personally or within our circle of friends, we wanted to give back to an organization that works to promote healthy living and save lives within our own community,” stated Nancy Dunsmore. “February is Heart Month and with our Sweetheart Pairing event in February, the collaboration was a true fit.”
