1st Annual Dirty Mutter

The mud has dried and is back again since the first annual Dirty Mutter obstacle course on September 8th, 2018, presented by Tail Blazers Kelowna. Over 90 happy dogs and their proud keepers took part in the day but it wasn’t just the tail wags that showed the success of the event. 

"We set a lofty goal our first year of running Dirty Mutter to raise $10,000 for Paws it Forward," says Dustyn Baulkham, Executive Producer of RUPC.  "With over 90 muddy dogs, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have raised $12,245.50 for Paws It Forward"

With the help of 20+ volunteers and countless hours, this amazing and unique experience for dogs and owners alike was created. Dirty Mutters is new to the Okanagan and could not have been made possible without the support of local businesses such as Tail Blazers Kelowna, Pandosy Village Vet Hospital and Kelowna Now. Not only did participants get to have an epic day competing with their best friend, but they also walked away with some swag bags that were valued at well over one hundred dollars. These bags included goodies from True Leaf, Pets Go Raw, Rad Rover, Poo Worx, Dr Maggie & Naturpet, Maddies Pet, PetKind, and Pacific Pet.

"The day was perfect and really could not have gone any better." adds Rhonda Laturnus of Results 4 Life Fitness Inc, "I cannot wait to build a bigger and better course next summer!"

Dirty Mutter will be teaming up once again with Paws It Forward, for the 2nd Annual Dirty Mutter on Sunday, Sept 8, 2019. A facebook event has been created and more details will be available in early 2019. Dirty Mutter will once again take place in Black Mountain at Results 4 Life Fitness (2454 Brentwood Road).
