La Bella Tavola classes

The Kelowna Canadian Italian Club recently unveiled La Bella Tavola Cooking Classes to the community.  The 3 hour hands-on cooking classes are run by volunteers and each classes features a guest presenter or two. 

The first 3 sessions featured Lasagna, Gnocchi and Cavati Pasta. A recent major renovation to the KCIC Clubhouse kitchen at 770 Lawrence Avenue has allowed the dream of cooking classes to come to fruition. The Italian Club strives to “Preserve Our Italian Culture and Heritage” and La Bella Tavola Cooking Class is a perfect way to share the love of cooking with the community.

Our local MLAs were instrumental in recently securing provincial government funding of $50,000 for the Clubhouse Kitchen Renovation project. They were special guests at a monthly Pasta Dinner on May 19 where a tour of the kitchen and introduction to La Bella Tavola Committee took place.
