Come walk for Cancer

The InspireHealth Rain Walk and Run returns to Kelowna, BC on Sunday, March 4, 2018. The 5km run
or walk is raising much needed funds for the InspireHealth supportive cancer care centre in downtown
Kelowna.

The Rain Walk and Run celebrates the courageous and supportive cancer community and encourages
everyone to stay active rain or shine. The event is a non-competitive, family-friendly 5km walk or run. Over 200 people will meet at the Parkinson Recreation Centre for pre-event activities from 9am. Many local businesses are supporting the walk, providing healthy snacks and beverages, giveaways and more! Locally owned Kelowna Home Hardware Building Centre is proud to be the Title Sponsor for the event with support from TWP Fitness.

InspireHealth hopes this event will help more people living in the Okanagan to find out about these services “New research show cancer survivors have significant challenges adjusting to post-treatment life after cancer. We are continually told from our members they wish they found out about InspireHealth sooner. We are very privileged to have access to such comprehensive supportive cancer care services in BC, offered completely free of charge. If you know someone affected by cancer, we urge you to come out and learn about supportive cancer care available right here on your doorstep in Kelowna.” Ashley Phillips, Clinical Counsellor, InspireHealth Kelowna.
