OK Falls legion donates

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) received a generous $400 donation from the OK Falls Legion which was used to recover the pool tables at Unity Clubhouse.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of the OK Falls Legion”, said John Brown, Unity House member. “These pool tables mean everything to the Clubhouse. They are utilized most of the day.”

Last week Unity Clubhouse hosted a pool tournament with the Kelowna Clubhouse. “The Clubhouse was just hopping last week during the pool tournament,” said Leah Schulting, Executive Director at CMHA. “We had over a dozen people playing pool, sharing stories, and enjoying a meal together. It really brought people together.” One of the members said it was the most fun he has had in a long time.
