Big Steel Box food drive

The Big Steel Box Team will be hosting a Food Drive Saturday September 16 at Superstore 2280 Baron Road from 10am to 5pm. Donate to this food drive and you will have a chance to win an inflatable boat.

"Our food bank has been well used this summer. We started with floods, then wildfire, then an apartment
fire and then more wildfire" states Sonia Withers, Community Ministry Coordinator. "We need to have a
good supply of food on hand at all times. This drive will fill up the shelves. Our most needed items are chunky
food, peanut butter, cereal, crackers, tinned meat, rice, pasta and pasta sauce."

"We so appreciate companies that offer to run a food drive for us" states Patty Lou Bryant, Communications
Coordinator. "The Big Steel Box Team coordinates everything, the team, the bins, packing groceries at the tills
and handing out our "most wanted" lists. We are looking forward to the bounty the community will donate."
