Picture the intergenerational beauty as youth and seniors simultaneously enjoyed the trendy music and fashions, modelled by the Miss Kelowna Lady of the Lake candidates March 4, hosted by Missionwood Regency Retirement Resort.  

The upper perimeter was lined with residents as they glanced across their dining room, which had been transformed into a runway for 8 candidates to showcase business, beach, formal, and semi-formal outfits from Bella Clothing Boutique, Amni Apparel, Cruzwear, and Ten Fashions Bridal Boutique.  To add to the show, emceed by Jennifer Odorizzi, Julia Chambers, a finalist for this year’s Teen Honour in the Arts Award, treated the guests with her amazing voice in song, which left the guests wanting more.  

The annual fashion show is the second of six judged events for this year’s Lady of the Lake youth mentorship program.
